came in to the studio just a couple of days after his tour with
CSN. He was ready to play some new music. He's on seven of the songs.
I was so blown away by his willingness to play and try different
things. He brought so much with him and tried just about all of
it sitting there on his amp for 4 hours. Amazing.

Kenny
played bass on all of the tracks except Cosmic Tease and that's
only because I had something stuck in my mind for that song and
used it instead. He also played electric and slide guitar on five
of the songs plus mandolin on one and background vocals on two.It
was such a pleasure working with Kenny. I hope he had as good a
time as it sounds. What an awesome musician. Check out his discography.

I
don't know if Kevin thought of himself as a rock drummer before
our sessions but he sure is one now. Not only did he compliment
my jazzier tunes so perfectly but he was a monster at Orange Whip
Studios when we recorded the rock drums. He is among the great rhythm
masters and I'm proud to say we went to the same high school. (but
not at the same time)

Donna
is another amazing drummer and I am so glad to have her on this
record. She played her vintage drums with such a warmth. She added
so much more than sound to this record.
